Pastor Christopher Romano is the pastor of Generation NOW!, the youth ministry of Rock Solid Church in Hudson, New York. Pastor Romano was born and raised in Ravena, N.Y where he excelled as an All-State Quarterback for the R-C-S Indians. Following graduation he attended Siena College in Loudonville, NY where he received his B.A. in History and Education and later Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia where he earned his M.A. in Religion and Biblical Studies. In March, 1998, Pastor Romano’s life was completely transformed as he encountered the living God and gave his heart to Jesus Christ. From the day he was born-again, Pastor Romano began serving in the house of the Lord. Following in the footsteps of his pastor and spiritual father, Jaron Halsted, Pastor Romano began serving at Rock Solid Church as a Sunday School teacher, usher, and youth leader. In April, 2006, Pastor Romano was set in as an elder and Youth Pastor where he continues to serve to this day. After serving in both public and private education for ten years as a history teacher and coach, God opened a door in the summer of 2008 to allow Pastor Romano to serve full-time on staff at Rock Solid.

The foremost passion of Pastor Romano’s heart is to see the broken lives of young people of all ages repaired and restored through the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ. Following the ministry model of 2 Timothy 2:2, it is the conviction of Pastor Romano and his wife Tara to create a culture and atmosphere of discipleship in order that young leaders can be mentored, trained, and developed that they might impact the church, their schools and universities, their jobs, their families and the world around them.
